This morning we made hedgehog rolls linked to our learning about Harvest. We watched a video clip to see where the combine harvester cut the wheat to turn into flour. We then used flour, yeast and warm water to make our dough which we left in the sunshine to prove. The warmth from the sun helped our dough to double in size - it was like magic!
Some of us mixed, some of us kneaded the dough and all of us shaped our hedgehog rolls making spiky backs using scissors and giving them raisin eyes. They looked delicious after we had baked them in the oven. Well done Ducklings!
