This year, the theme for Science Week was Change and Adapt. 

Each of our classes were lucky enough to have a live online science lesson from the Primary Science Teaching Trust. 

EYFS- Shadow Time- (Shadows made and Observed linked to The Gruffalo.)

Years 1 and 2-It's raining, it's pouring- (Making a waterproof coat for Little Red Riding Hood.)

Years 3 and 4- Rolling, rolling, rolling- (Rolling a bottle down a variety of surfaces.)

Years 5 and 6- Marvellous Marbles- (Designing and making a marble run.)

We were also fortunate to have some STEM visitors in our school. Year 5 had a visit from Ivybridge school and had an Electricity workshop. Year 6 had a visit from Coombe Dean's science department and had the opportunity to dissect a heart! We were also lucky enough to be gifted a range of STEM books from one of our Governors, Adrian Montague from Services Design Solution.
