It has been lovely to welcome all the children back to nursery after the Easter break and we have had a lot of new faces join us too! Our older children who will be heading to school in September found out which school they had been placed at, and in readiness for this we have been supporting the children with independence skills - including with self care, clothes and shoes. Some of our older children have also been exploring writing letters and numbers, with some even starting to form their names, as well as some other recognisable shapes. We have seen some little musicians flourish over this half term, exploring xylophones as well as maracas and castanets. The children children have been some creative mark makers and have been practising more physical skills in our large outdoor areas.
