History: Christianity in three empires (300-600CE)
This unit focusses on three cities: Rome, Constantinople and Adulis (in the African empire of Aksum), representing three types of Christianity (connected but different) influenced by and influencing local culture. Stories examine the role of rulers in the spread of Christianity.

Geography: Tourism
In the first lesson we will focus on Llandudno, Wales - a seaside town. We look at types of tourism such as visiting friends and family or activity holidays. We investigate skiing holidays in the Alps and the growth of tourism in the UK and overseas (such as sunshine holidays in Spain). We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of tourism and how to make tourism sustainable.

RE: Christianity 4 – The Death and Resurrection of Jesus
We will read the following New Testament stories: Jesus rides into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday0, Jesus turning over the money changers’ tables in the Temple, Last Supper (Maundy Thursday), crucifixion & idea of sacrifice (Good Friday), resurrection (Easter Sunday). We will consider why these stories are important to Christians.
