Year 6 managed to go outside and enjoy the Sunshine for their Maths lesson.

They are learning about area and perimeter and applied their skills to a real life context: measuring the playground. They then took it a step further! Owl Class were challenged with finding the area and perimeter using only a piece of string and a ruler. They managed to complete the task and some children showed excellent team work skills and resilience! Well done Year 6!
